September in La Manzanilla is hot and humid. It is, though, less hot and humid than Puerto Vallarta. It is also less hot and humid than Barra de Navidad or San Patricio Melaque. We have more wind and more consistent bay breezes still in September. October, however, is to be avoided as the winds die down and we have periods of doldrum. October is very uncomfortable weather to most, except for Daniel. If you're coming for two weeks or less, you'll feel fine in September. If you are coming for more time, you might start to get tired of the constant heat and humidity. If you haven't been to La Manzanilla, I'm sure that you will fall in love with it, regardless the time of year.
