After I thought the remnants of Manuel were out of the picture for us, we got a moderately rowdy thunderstorm last night around 3AM that really poured: about 2.6"! This morning I can see on the GOES IR loop that it was a smallish yellow blob that came from the tail end of Manuel's remnants north of us and drifted slowly over us from the west: http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/west/epac/flash-avn.html Manuel actually is now called Invest 91, and has a 30% chance of redeveloping: http://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/eastern-pacific/2013/Invest-91?map=model Even though yesterday afternoon was just a little sprinkly, I think they never got the greased pole erected at the Delegacion for the Climb for the Prizes, or had any of the usual sack races, etc. Too bad for the Independence Day visitors, and our business people! |
