I'm interested to. Just did the application process for a 2 year visa temporal yesterday. That's a whole other very long story... Last year when we got our 1st 1 year visa the Immigration people told us we needed to go to the Aduana in Manzanillo to get an extension on our 6 months tourist "vehicle importation permit" which were able to do. This year they don't seem to have any definitive information about what needs to be done, passing it off on the Federal Police. LM locals say as long as your visa is good so is your imported car permit. I guess I'm not as worried about it this year but will still try for the extension at the Aduana next week. Will keep you posted. If anyone knows for sure, please, fill me in.
