El Horno Francés en Barra

We went to the French Bakery in Barra de Navidad yesterday. The ham and cheese croissant and café au lait are delish. But the best part is Susie, the server - always a treat to see her. She is so positive and upbeat, it's infectious. She loves to dress up, and her French Maid outfit brings a smile to our faces. Susie is one in a million. She is the sister of Yazmín, who many people knew from working at Roosters, and who is also a bundle of bright energy. We would like to meet the rest of the family, because they seem to embody Mexican positivity and the ethos of disfrutar hoy. Susie made the self-portrait on the chalkboard behind her in the photo. Very talented!
