Pete always stayed true to his beliefs. He didn't allow himself to be intimidated, and always had a smile and a song. I saw him the last few years at the Corn Festival in Beacon, NY, where he lived. It's a benefit for the Clearwater, which sails up and down the Hudson River, running environmental programs onboard and teaching people how to sail. Pete served the corn and then always played and sang, accompanied by various members of his blood and extended families. He'll definitely be missed by all whose lives he touched.
