hola pat, I tried to email you using your little white envelope but delivery failed. you can take the ETN bus from barra to guadalajara and then take another ETN bus from Guadaljara to Morelia.
You can take the local purepecha bus to patzcuaro from morelia or take a cab. you can make it in a day with an early start
