Don Concho is gone

Disheartening news that perhaps the last of the La Manzanilla founders and gentlemen is gone. He was 96+ and passed yesterday early in the morning. He will be buried today after a 10:00 mass. He passed gently. I loved him as a very kind and loving person who was lucid until the end. Don Concho was deep and soft and he takes many important La Manzanilla memories with him. His life is a tribute to being valiant and true to ones beliefs. He never sold out and La Manzanilla coast is free and open for us to enjoy because of his and his companero's effort and sacrifices back in 1937. Descansa en paz, mi amigo. Your presence will always be with me. Cruz I hope that David Dagoli can post Don Concho's wonderful picture taken last year or maybe Daniel can do his magic and bring it up.
