Thank you Daniel. I was in Yucatan for few years in late 80"s. It was great. Playa de Carmen was just a little village with the ferry going to Cozumel. La zona (hotels)in cancun was starting up. So I came to the west coast looking for a safe beach for young kids to swim safely and I discovered Boca de Iguanas and La Manzanilla in 1991. I do not think that what happened in the Mayan Riviera will happen in La manz. They are still building hotels and condos in Nuevo Vallarta and Bucerias...... Thankfully for us.
