ordering books from Amazon.com

I need to get my hands on a couple of books from Amazon and am trying to figure out the most effective way to get them here. Has anyone had any experience with ordering from Amazon.com and having their items sent to an address in Melaque or Barra? How long did it take? My other option would be to have them sent to my home in Vancouver and then try to find someone who is coming to LaManz and willing to bring them to me. I appreciate any advice or insights this community can offer on the subject.

I tried once and it took 6 weeks then part of the order was ripped open and gone gone .....you need a lot of time to do the at home delivery and then here thing!! Ever try downloading the book on to someones kindle?? Good luck.

I've ordered many. They do take a lot of time since once in México they are sent through mexican postal service. If yo want to wait 4 to 6 or even more, it's OK.
