Today I picked up friends at the airport. The parking attendant informed. me of a great new parking feature. I now had to pay my parking fee by inserting my parking ticket, along with pesos, into a machine in the terminal in order to get my car out.
I got in the lineup, at about at number 25. The ever patient Mexicans in the lineup were grumbling, so I knew I was in trouble. My travel weary guests waited for. 20 minutes until I reached the machine to insert my pesos, which was probably more given my 20 minute wait.
The machine gave me change and a valid paid ticket stub back, and I was on my way, only 20 minutes delayed.
Wow! Isn't technology great?

That didn't sound so great to me 
Parking 20 minutes. Wait in line to pay 20 minutes. Pay for 40 minutes = profit.
New business model, sell cell phones ($300 pesos + 300 minutes) inside the airport.
Friends call you when they are at the curb ready to be picked up. Save parking, save irritation,
start communication for entire trip. Sell phone to arriving passengers when you leave.

PVR has had this system for about 3 years and works well
