ceramics help

I brought home a beautiful clay Katrina with butterfly wings from Patzquaro; unfortunately, many parts of her broke on the journey, especially the wings. I have been trying to fix her with Superglue, but the pieces aren't fitting together tightly. I'd like to find someone who would like to either take this project on and put her together correctly, or who could advise me on how to fill in the parts where light shows through the joined parts. Of course, I would compensate the helper, whatever the form that help might take! Help! Please! Thank you!

Please, do not use super glue on a Catrina. Elmers or Weldbond, work much better. Anything that dries clear and can be touched up. I know this due to working in a gallery in Ajijic and, having to re-attach many little fingers that were found after people shook their hands or, who knows!

But on't use Gorilla Glue - it expands and makes the disaster worse! (this I know by experience) Hope you find that help, Jeannie!
