Before the flow of water was diverted, that truck on Boca del Rio, was tilted over so far that the tires on its left (as we look at the pic) were completely under water, and the truck was in danger of capsizing. It's a real mess over here, and all that work from the past few days, digging and burying the sewage pipes, will have to, to a large degree, be re-done. I'm sure there are many streets as bad, possibly even worse--not a night to be walking after dark with so many traps awaiting the unwary.

. . . that should read 'on the right' side of the truck. I was mentally viewing it from just a little further up the hill where I stood to take my own pics.

this reminds me of what it was like here after Jova when we had huge amounts of rain and lots of streets washed out. It is so amazing what water can do in large amounts. Thanks for all the great pics. I am really happy to be staying home today!
