This coming Friday evening March 13, at 7:30 Casa Luz is pleased to host Carol Marchasin and Alice Walker who will read selected excerpts from their writing. Carol Merchasin a "recovering lawyer", trainer, and public speaker, will be reading from her newly released book of essays, This is Mexico: Tales of Culture and Other Complications which explores the often humorous and sometimes poignant workings of everyday life in Mexico. Alice Walker, writer, activist, and winner of the 1983 Pulitzer Prize in fiction for her novel "The Color Purple", will read from her recent works. Come and enjoy this very special literary evening.
