We took plastic glasses down there last season and took them to the beach and had them filled with water or whatever. Friends brought thermos like containers with them, and didn't use plastic. We used the Pyrex dishes to get sushi from Sammy on the weekend. I'll use it for pollo asado next season. Great idea! I think that would be good for Chayo's too. (How do we happened to know all these places! )
There a bit of a business for someone who wants to sell plastic glasses with straws in them. The tianguis would be perfect for this. They sell them in Mexico because our friend gave us one after another broke in our luggage. Probably in Guadalajara, if not Manzanillo. However, they're easy to pack. Stuff some socks or other small clothing pieces in the glass. Just some ideas most of you are trying by now, anyway. Good!
