I was very active in a successful campaign to have GMO products banned in Mendocino County California. We were the first county in the nation to ban them.
Monsanto rolled into our County with a powerful out of the area PR machine and spent a lot of money and lost.
Monsanto has told many lies about GMO's and violated many assurances that their GMO modified crops would not spread to farms around them and into the food chain.
If Monsanto is so proud of their GMO's why do they spend so much lobbying money to prevent our foods from being labeled "Contains GMO's, thus taking away the public's ability to choose what they want to eat?
Essentially we are all being used as Guinea Pigs by Monsanto. It can sometimes take many years before harmful effects of experiments on food become apparent
