Hi everyone, I've been back in La Manzanilla for a few days now, recuperating and catching up around the house and yard after an incredibly busy trip to Arizona. So sorry for being out of touch so much.
I did bring down yet another digital rain gauge (I've killed several so far.) I even brought a non-digital plastic column-type gauge in case the new electronic one goes belly-up like all of its brethren. (Insert emoticon for "frustrated weather nerd" here.)
My new gauge recorded 3.92" / 100mm of rain from Hurricane / Tropical Storm Carlos, all in the first half of Tuesday June 16th. Nothing else since then.
I'd like to fill in the gaps in my rainfall data set. Does anyone have some rain amounts during my absence (April 25th to June 15th?) Tom and Mary Jo? Daniel?
I plan to arrange coverage for rainfall data-taking during my future absences. Thanks everyone for your patience with the interruptions in my weather guy duties!
