Sue's Library Project

Sue O'Riley will be leaving La Manzanilla this week, and the library she initiated is in good shape to continue growing and being used by the community. Check out this website https://sites.google.com/site/ruralliteracyproject/ and you will see that this is just one of many libraries Sue has initiated around the world - it's really impressive! When she encountered technical difficulties with the available equipment here, Sue purchased a new computer and printer, using her own money, so that the work could continue. Sue, thank you so much for what you have contributed, through many hours of time, co-ordination of volunteer help, and through your money contribution. We are privileged to have you as part of our community. And to anyone reading this who would like to help Sue recover some of those costs, please consider making a donation to the project, either directly to Sue, or to the website above, using paypal. See you in the fall, Sue, buen viaje! | ------------------------Re: Sue's Library Project

My husband Don & I would also like to bring items for the library as well as for the school. We will be back in December & can bring items with us as we will be bringing a cargo trailer for my husbands zodiac boat & trailer. We were in Colimilla this past 3 months & brought boxes of school supplies for the local school. So we would be glad to do the same for La Manzanilla. Thanks for givig back to this wonderful community. Mary Jo My husband is a Microsoft Certified guy so computers are his speciality. We gave 2 computers to Colimilla that he found in Oregon pawn shops & reworked them. | ------------------------
