Don Luis and his cats

Over a year ago Cisco's Amigos started feeding Don Luis' 21 cats and 6 dogs. HIs wife of many, many years died and he was left to manage the menagerie. Maria had been a great supporter of Cisco's letting us spay or neuter her new adoptees each year. Today, Don Luis has 14 cats and 4 dogs-all doing very well. I'll be leaving soon for California and Lynne will once again take on the full responsibility of feeding all the critters . I asked myself many times why are we doing this since Don Luis seems to be doing very well. I then found out that he will be 91 in July(he showed me his birth certificate). He deserves help and Cisco's Amigos is more than happy to provide it. We had a little party for him which he really enjoyed. If you would like to help by donating money to pay for the food Cisco's would really appreciate it. It cost around $900peoso/month. We also provide worm and flee medicine to all of them. You can e-mail me at the above address and we'll figure out how your can donate. Here are most of them enjoying their dinners in their "milk jug" serving dishes. It seems to keep down on the competition for food during feeding time. They have started to gain more weight. | ------------------------Re: Don Luis and his cats

Thank you Lynne and Julie for your love and perseverance! Also, any one of these beautiful cats are available for adoption to good homes! Please help spread the word. | ------------------------Re: Don Luis and his cats

It's a pleasure to help those critters, Lisa, and thanks for coming to our little birthday party for Don Luis. (Every crumb of cake was gone that evening, when I stopped by to check on "the family.") Julie leaves this weekend, so if anyone is willing to adopt one of the kitties, please call me at 315 351 5395. They have all been socialized and are very well behaved...for cats! | ------------------------
