Julie, La Risa is on the Jardin near the Dolphin fountain. It was owned by my daughter and Dave Collins and at that time was called "Girasol". Tia bought it from them about 9 years ago. Linda and Blanca continued to work there for all these years. It was always a seasonal business, but the rent had to be paid all year and the staff was the highest paid of any restaurant in town, so expenses were high. The reason I took issue was the bread, muffins and eggs benedict recipes were those my daughter trained Linda to do and Tia paid for. With gluten free and coconut flour so popular nowadays, Ani is most likely right. But all one has to do is google recipes, so it's no big deal! What I took issue with was the "new location of Linda's restaurant"and employee loyalty. It is a new restaurant.
