The hurricane tore their kitchen roof off, but the main part of the house has a concrete roof, and their belongings stayed dry. Many trees are down around there too.
We drove up that road, deep in beyond the plaza de toros, to check on them. We saw small stacks of that reddish coloured corrugated roofing material (lamina) at houses along the way.
When we arrived at their house we saw that Protección Civil had just delivered lamina to their house too.
