Hot off the press in October and hand delivered to the bookstore today...The Eastern Question...a book written by local resident Ted Danforth and edited by his wife, Nan. Ten years in the works, The Eastern Question follows the geopolitical dynamics of the Middle East for the past three millennia to todays current situation. A fascinating read for those of us with questions as to how and why we are where we are with the Middle East...and written so we can understand it! Great maps and cartoonish drawings make this book a fun read about a serious subject. Art "help" was given by another local, Sue Siskin! Sale proceeds have been generously donated back to the bookstore...thank you very much Ted and Nan! Books go out tomorrow, Monday, and will sell for 300 pesos! We love you both, Stephanie
