Rosa and Aedan are in Emiliano Zapata, which may have been ground zero. I have not had any contact with them since 3:30 pm. Any info about Zapata would be greatly appreciated and if anyone can make the trip up there as soon as the road is passable a blue bottle or two would be in order. Thanks in advance, Abram P.S. So glad every one is all right in my favorite pueblo and Thanks D, you loco cabron. I don't have any blue bottles up here in Oregon so I drank a green one for you, Irish whiskey sure helps calm the nerves.😉 | ------------------------Re: Re landfall

Abram, we too are hoping Aedan and Rosa are safe and sound in EZ. We are watching with concern from far north in Edmonton, Canada. I had some nice single malt whisky while trying to find more information about the current situation. I am sure we will all be sharing bottles of the 'Blue' when we return to LM and help out where we can. Take care | ------------------------Re: Re landfall

Abram, my heart is crying for you not knowing about Rosa and Aedan...Gary and I have a 5 month old grandson and I don't know what I would do in your situation. As you know we were with Bruce tonight waiting to hear from Jackie, we finally did, and Bruce tried to call you to let you know...you are in our hearts Abram, I hope you hear something soon, sending you big love | ------------------------Re: Re landfall

Thanks to all for the prayers and positive thoughts, it sounds like Rosa and Aedan are fine, however the roof blew off her dad's house and there is substantial damage to town. The river flooded but there has not been any reported loss of life. | ------------------------Re: Re landfall

Thanks for the Twitter link. !Que Milagros's?! Amazing how little damage for taking a direct hit from a cat 5 hurricane, according to the link Patricia made landfall 2.3 miles to the NW at Quixmala in the vicinity of the wildlife refuge by the river mouth. Wow! | ------------------------Re: Re landfall

So glad to hear that everyone seems to be okay. Lots of damage, but it can be rebuilt. Those of you who are in the know, please let us know where we can send a donation. I'm sure many folks lost everything they own. Also, if people could tell us what items people will need (clothing household items, etc.) we'll bring them in January. | ------------------------ |
