Today in town, fog, cows, sunset

Around noon some guys sprayed for Mosquito's (I guess) but they used hand foggers that are like 10 mosquito spray trucks in one! Big surprise The cows are back in town! Been a long time since I've seen it, wonderful sight! They herded them to the side so cars could go past. The guys were trimming the palm. There is a good vibe in town, kids running and playing, nice. I took a photo of the sunset from inside the office, still to busy to watch it with sunset oil (Tequila) like the old days. They moved the generator, I'm not positive but we may be on regular power? Onward through the fog in a whole new sense

Wonderful pictures. Loved the cows too. Goodness your tree seaside certainly had a huge haircut. Thanks Daniel. Made us smile. | ------------------------Re: Today in town, fog, cows, sunset

Wow, Daniel! What a great mix of nostalgia, beauty, and, well, reality! Those cows (Deme's?) go by my house a couple of times every winter...hope I haven't lost them to a new route! The sunset... a much needed reminder that what is really important is still there, free to enjoy and not needing any repairs. Thank you for this post. | ------------------------Re: Today in town, fog, cows, sunset

Thanks for this Daniel. From the sunset picture, did I see the deck of Las Gaviotas (where we usually stay) still in one piece?! How could that be? Wonderful cow pictures, by the way. | ------------------------Re: Gaviotas

I love everyone's positive attitudes, the cows, the hopes for recovering the tequila bench and, who knows, when you find it, Cora might be nestled right up against it. And, thanks for the information about Gaviotas, Daniel. | ------------------------Re: Today in town, fog, cows, sunset

I sure miss the almond tree. But I've got to say, my heart is there looking toward the bay...and I can see the beach bar in the photo, did it survive?

Wonderful photos, Daniel! The spirit of the village shines through even the fog. And when that beach bar is back up and running you can be sure there will be a mighty celebration! | ------------------------Re: Today in town, fog, cows, sunset

Yes, it is fine, I love that painting. I want to thank you very much for giving me a place of refuge from the storm and a dry place to stay for a couple of nights, I realize how lucky I am to have you in my life. Best to you Janet | ------------------------Re: Today in town, fog, cows, sunset

On the bright side, after reading all of the recent posts it seems as though you're going to have one hell of a tequila stash! Count me in for una botella! | ------------------------Re: Today in town, fog, cows, sunset

Are sea gulls as messy as Pigeons? How about a blue glass sculpture that is sharp on top? | ------------------------Re: Today in town, fog, cows, sunset

Perfect! I'll start a gathering of the blue bottles--or maybe you should do that! See you soon, my friend!

I love your blue glass sculpture idea Daniel. I shall be happy to donate several pieces towards the construction, after sharing contents, at the new beach bar! | ------------------------Re: Today in town, fog, cows, sunset
