Figaro Dogs

Greetings Mexican Dog Lovers! I've been chosen to organize a trip to Melaque for the spaying of the 4 females in heat at Pino's. I will be taking them to the most wonderful Vet, Beto Vigil at 8:30 on Thursday morning. I will go meet them manana and fit them with collars. Any others out there who want to volunteer or chip in? Joanne and Brenda have offered to sponsor (pay) for a couple of them. This year there is no Cisco's Amigos, so we have to nip this in the bud! | ------------------------Re: Figaro Dogs

One of the female dogs, Coco, with a blue mark on her shoulder is definitely coming and the others are males. Not as many females as I first thought. Thank you Joanne T. and Brenda for offering your assistance in the round-up Thurs. morning. Also I will stop by, Judy B and Cathie. And yes, Teresa, sadly, Cisco's isn't happening this year. | ------------------------Norma, please call me

Three dogs were sponsored by Brenda H., Joanne K and Dottie. As it turned out, Coco, one of the dogs had already been spayed (perhaps last year at Cisco's Amigos)! So we have a credit for another beachdog! Pino from Figaro's restaurant drove them in and picked them up. I drove in with Joanne T and Brenda and waited for 2 and a half hours for the vet to arrive. This was our first endeavour and the process will get smoother in the future. We did get a 100p discount on each dog which we gave Pino as he has been feeding beach dogs and will continue to. I really appreciate this lovely man as he just doesn't dole out dry food, but mixes canned food into it. After all, he is a restauranteur! I am working on an arrangement with Pro Animal Melaque to do another batch of dogs. They may have a clinic before Christmas if they have enough funds. I promise to keep a full accounting of funds donated. A couple of people living here have offered to donate and I will call you the next time. People not here and who want to help, please get in touch with www.proanimalmelaque.com We are a spontaneous collective of dog lovers trying to help La Manzanilla dogs survive without adding more puppies to their precarious existence. I promise to keep a full accounting of funds donated. | ------------------------Re: Figaro dog update
