I know there are a number of folks that think citronella is very effective in protecting against mosquito bites. Research and testing results do not support that and Health Canada has gone as far as to ban the use of citronella in natural insect repellents due to concerns over possible cancer causing effects. For those wanting to stick to more "organic" type repellants Citriodol which is oil of lemon eucalyptus, might be a much better choice. We will be bringing that plus some other repellants. With all the rains the mosquito population will find limitless places to breed even with spraying. Dengue and Chikungunya sound like no fun at all.
