Specialty Coffees

I went to Cafe Risa this morning and tried one of Tia's specialty coffees. While I'm no "coffee guru" I definitely thrive on this nectars of the gods. There were 2 to choose from - the first is from Nayarit, and is a natural processed coffee. The Second is from Puebla, and is a semi-washed coffee. I tried the Nayarit and was in heaven. Unfortunately all of the Puebla coffee beans have been sold out, but there are some of the Nayarit beans still available. Hopefully Tia will continue this "Specialty Coffee" morning! Here's a picture of her working the "coffee bar"

The coffee-tasting was very interesting - Mexican beans roasted by Melaque's own La Taza Negra. Here is Tia doing the precision pour-over with one of her meseras -Karla.

Glad you had time to stop in and grab a bag of Whole Beans! It was a super cool opportunity to brew La Taza Negra's new Specialty Coffees. Always with the great photos, thank you for your interest in COFFEE. | ------------------------Thanks for your Interest

It was so much fun having you in today to discuss Coffees! Your appreciation for the Roaster and all of his hard work was great! Wish there was more time to #nerdtalk - maybe next event, if there is interest. Muchisimas Gracias Valerie. | ------------------------
