This time it was really hard to leave La Manzanilla. The fact that the day was overcast here on Lake Chapala didn't help the mood. I spent most of the day putting away "stuff" and trying to locate my glasses lost in the process of packing up in La Manz. Yes, Daniel, I eventually found them, and I also found this poem I'd handwritten on a piece of paper one morning at Pedro's beach taco place. I'd forgotten about it, but since it is on a topic I've been thinking a lot about, I thought I'd share it, along with this found art assemblage that might be finished. Thanks to everyone who makes La Manzanilla such a special and welcoming place. I was already nostalgic before I left.
Below is a link if you are interested in the poem and/or the media and dimensions of the assemblage.
