In the States I'm used to regularly check my receipts so in LaM I watch the amount entered and have never found it to be inaccurate. If I fail to bring enough pesos with me I'm told to take my groceries and bring the difference back later. I'm betting on a honest mistake.

Both Enrique and Lydia have worked very hard to accommodate the visitors to La Manz....learning English...asking what you need, then trying to find the products...if you have a problem with change...talk to THEM....I'm sure if they knew they had made a mistake they would be happy to rectify the problem. Please don't bash them on the board.
You obviously noticed what you believed was a mistake while your groceries were being wrung up. Why did you not mention it then, rather than complaining in public where they have lost the opportunity to defend themselves? Your complaint, therefore, has no integrity.

My advice is to be careful at Lydia's. A number of our guests and members of our family have had problems with their bills. At times, the previous persons total is left on her number screen, and your order may be added to it.
