if you don't have a car, you can ask a taxi to take you to La Mora, and come back at a designated time to pick you up. Can't remember the cost of doing that - maybe about $150 each way? a lot cheaper than a boat ride! but - snorkling at the South end of the beach is good too, although tricky getting in and out of the water near the point. Wear beach shoes!
