Kudos to you Cruz for the typhoid fever alert... I first heard about typhoid being an issue in LM 2/3 yrs ago- as far as I know the affected individuals did not post info on this board- if they did-- my apologies... I phoned the Travel Clinic in South Surrey yesterday... the pills seem to be the way to go-- they're effective for 5 yrs-- and cost just $60 plus a small consultation fee of $20...
