Taxi rates from the airport to anywhere are regulated. You pay your fare at the airport kiosk, not the taxi driver. The rate is based on the zone to go to. 880 peso sounds right. Taxi fares to the airport are by private taxi. Knowing the regulated rate out of the airport helps you negotiate the price with the local taxi. Historically the local fares were less ..... due in part to lower costs by the local taxi. Bottom line is never pay more than the airport rate.
