My experience for the last five or six years is that just before the rainy season starts, water supply to the town deceases, I guess with the idea that it will be replenished with the rains; the flaw in that thinking is that the underground system will only fill to a 100% point and then it just overflows, the only way to get around this is to build more storage for the dryer periods.

One issue that is apparent is that the communications between the Morgan and the Ejido is poor and very inconsistent; we are getting misinformation or no information which makes it very difficult to manage the water we have. I find it strange that we can not get city supplied water but we are able to purchase water which is obtained from the city system. So it would appear that the supply of water is a partial make work project for a very fortunate few.

My suggestion that the overall water management system be reviewed; there are areas of the town which apparently have no issues and other areas are living in a drought. It would be nice to know that the supply times and volumes would be in advance (I have suggested this in the past) and it would certainly help in planning the purchase of additional water.
