To be honest, I have been putting of dealing with the harsh realities of it all, until I return to La Manz, later this month...

Have had very positive support from potential advertisers and future customers. Stephanie, of our local bookstore, volunteered to handle and distribute the profits generated, to those in urgent need in our village.

The bottom line is, all was perfectly in place, except the printer; searched high and low for a good quality printer, with an eye to keeping the biz in Mexico...

Did finally settle on a small business in Melaque, but despite my best efforts at negotiation, the price remains out of reach.

They insist on $80 000 pesos for 500 calendars.

The Dagoli's generously offered to assist with the outlay, but regardless it is simply too big a financial risk for us, and a fruitless endeavour, if the 500 calendars don't sell.

We do have the sponsors/advertisers, but wanted to allow every establishment in La Manz the opportunity to place their business name/logo in the calendar, but how to do that fairly and still generate a decent sum toward the bottom line?

Haven't abandoned the idea yet..and am well open to constructive suggestions...
