OK, finally got it fixed, turned out to be static on the line. The person who
helps me keep my place in order gave me the name of a guy in town who fixes
Internet problems. He showed up and followed the problem to the phone pole
across the street, which he climbed and fixed! Certainly faster than Telmex,
and a reasonable price
