In error, we now have a polished cement finish with sealant having been added to the cement. The error was that we should have sealed the pool before adding the cement finish. So we are back-ass-wards 
.
Perhaps the 'sealant' addition to the cement will be enough to prevent leaks and what-have-you, but looking to see if anyone knows about effective sealants for finishes, or after the fact mistakes,

I'm hoping that others learn from our mistake. There are good sealants available at Home Depot in Manzanillo but they are applied first. If you are using tiles then this would not be an issue for you, only for us polished cement users.
