Karla of the La Chona Taqueria family in La Manzanilla has asked me again to appeal for financial aid for her sick grandfather Juan. He is not doing well and the family is having trouble coming up with money for the medications he needs. Any help at all would be most appreciated. Donations can be made directly at the family Taqueria next to Arroz y Leche Restaurant. Western Union donations can also be sent to Karla Yazmin Sanchez Figueroa - you can email the pick-up code to me at dagolis@hotmail.com, and I can forward it to Karla on FaceBook messenger. The family wants to thank the extranjero community for all their support - they are very touched by the community's generosity. Karla sent a photo of Juan from a few months back, but says he has now lost all his hair and can't get around on his own anymore.
