La Manzanilla Message Board: Help Needed for Earthquake Relief Brigade: La Manzanilla to Mexico City

My friend and local La Manzanillan Luis Garcia is organizing a relief brigade to bring much needed supplies from La Manzanilla directly to earthquake victims in Mexico City. Food and clothing are high on the list of supplies in need, but feel free to Google and check what else is being asked for. Please drop off whatever supplies you are able to get together and/or buy asap to the delegación in La Manzanilla and tell them that is for "la brigada de ayuda de Luis Garcia para los víctimas del temblor en la Ciudad de México." By the way, my son and I are O.K. I posted some videos on Facebook at "Davison Collins". It was a terrifying gruesome day that I will never forget. I was glad to have my bike and be able to get to my son´s school shortly after the quake (would have been impossible in a vehicle), and of course extremely grateful that he was O.K. I asked him if he was scared and he said: "Yes, I almost cried." Which made me almost cry.
