I am trying to think of the advantages to having the coconut served in this fashion. Lighter to carry around, easier to eat when done drinking the coco water, could be good at a restaurant as it takes up less room on the table and looks cool but its hard to set down unless served like this Or in a plastic container like this one for to go. It caught my eye as I am cruising the web for general info on La Manzanilla. We (Randy and me) are from Seattle, and based on a bunch of stars aligning, are wanting to spend a month next winter there...to learn the area with the aim of possibly moving.
