An Intimate Educational Tasting Event
Learn what the hype is all about! The rapid expansion of the high-end tequila category and the growing popularity of mezcal have created world-wide hype around agave-based spirits. And raised lots of questions about what’s traditional, what’s authentic and what the differences are.
Every week, Laura Lynch and Miguel Huerta will host Agave Advice with rotating themes covering Tequila, Mezcal, and Agave Distillates such as Tuxca, Raicilla, and whatever other incredible treasures we can find to share.
Event includes:
Tasting of 4 different tequilas, appetizers, and a minimum of 2 hours of agave education with plenty of time to discuss and learn!

The Terroir of Tequila
Join us as we explore the rich landscape of tequila. This guided tasting event will explore the regions where tequila originated and how it became world famous. We will taste how production methods and region of cultivation (terroir) determine the variation of flavor profiles. We will learn how tequila and mezcal are different but closely related. We will learn about the regulations governing the Tequila Denomination of Origin and what is being enforced and why, as well as how to smell, sip, and truly taste the sacred elixir and global product we know as tequila.
