The Attorney General of Jalisco, completed this Saturday arrest warrants against four Tecalitlan police [Tecalitlan is 100 kilometers north of Colima], who allegedly participated in the disappearance of the Italians Raffaele Russo, Antonio Russo and Vicenzo Cimmino.
The judge charged the four officers for the crime of enforced disappearance, issuing a precautionary measure of justified detention for one year.
The four officers were in the Institute of Training and Professionalization of the Attorney General of Jalisco, receiving training, as well as 29 other elements of the same corporation. Last Tuesday, the Tecalitlán municipal police station was disarmed.
On the facts, Attorney General Raúl Sánchez Jiménez said that according to the investigation the Italian citizens were detained by the elements when they were at a gas station near the municipal seat.
It was there where the three foreigners had communication with their relatives, telling them they had just been stopped by Tecalitlán policemen.
The person in charge of the law enforcement in Jalisco, indicated that they were taken from there by the uniformed men to Jilotlán de los Dolores, where according to the statements of the detainees, they were handed over to members of organized crime .
As it is already known, the missing people from Italy were selling generators and welding equipment, so it is not ruled out that they were in the area offering such equipment.
Relatives had declared that they were acting as tourists, but this was ruled out by the Jalisco Prosecutor's Office, even in the Ciudad Guzman hotel where they were staying they were registered under different names.
The search for the foreigners continues in the southeast region of that entity, as well as in the states of Michoacán and Colima.295
