I am hopeful that we can avoid blame and not split into camps of "us versus them".
Can we stop with the attitude that "they can can't fix the sewer so why think they can fix the water shortage"? It can and will be fixed.
Can we leave the locals out of this? It is none of our business whether or not the locals pay.
Can we not divide into camps and finger pointing. The "Villa" owners, the pool and garden owners, they did not create the problem. Morgan's current rate structure accounts for users who consume more. It is not "flatlanders" versus the "mountain people". We are a community here.
Lack of money is the immediate problem. It is a problem because only 40% of users pay up. Why don't they pay? Who knows. But I am sure the hell going to talk to everyone I can. Ask people you know. Did you pay? If not, why not? Educate people. A lot of people don't read this board and don't even know there is a problem.
If we can get the payment rate from 40% to, say, 60%, Morgan can buy a pump and drill the well deeper.
