Spoken Word Artist Charity Series Open Mic This Monday at 7:30

At Casa Luz from 7:30 to 9:30. 6 to 12 minutes for each Spoken Word Artist depending the number of folks who would like to share. The proceeds for this event will go into The Dave Sullins Memorial Art Fund. Dave's Fund has paid for art materials and supplies for the 18-to-19-member Scholarship Student art class and exibition at La Catalina Foundation for the last two years and for a special two-session 25-student art class up at the Miguel Hidalgo High School this last November. All forms of Spoken Word welcome; prose, poetry, storytelling, adlibbing, etc. One can read or recite. | ------------------------Re: Spoken Word Artist Charity Series Open Mic This Monday at 7:30

Patrick, The proceeds after expenses on Monday night's Open Mic go into the Dave Sullins Memorial Art Fund. This fund supplies art supplies and materials for local art programs. The five winners from the StorySlam on January 22nd can choose whatever charity they want in La Manzanilla. The Four Invitational readers on February 19th can also choose whatever charity they want in La Manzanilla. In the past, artists have given their monies to local people in need of a roof, or a refrigerator, etc. Others have chosen animal control, uniforms for school children, The Sewer Project, and Dave's Art Fund, e.g. | ------------------------Re: A last Reminder!
