I got to read "The Truth" before it was deleted.

It doesn't surprise me that the author wants to remain anonymous -- the posting was short on facts and long on "likely conjecture."

The posting painted Siegfried as a patsy and Santana as a shark, with precious little information of use.

If the posting contained information that might be useful to the larger community, it would have been worth preserving. It didn't. What it contained was one person's opinion, and that one person is not willing to stand behind their opinion by being named.
