On Wednesday evening I was coming back from a walk on the beach, the Lagoon was so full that the water went all the way across the road as I passed by.
Around 9:30 I smelled something awful, I thought it was my septic tank or something. In the morning I realized that they had opened the Lagoon, here is a photo showing the difference in the ocean where the lagoon water is and is not just to the right of the swimmers. It was like a solid line, clear one place and brackish water the next.
I did not swim yesterday, this morning is better and I think it will be pretty much back to normal by this afternoon.
