That's funny I see locals surfing there almost every afternoon when the swell is right (including my brother, cousin and little sisters). I think the people that drownd there are all tourist mainly who don't have any swiming experience at all (and in some cases had been drinking before entering the water)and were not being watched over by experts. So I think Boca is a cool spot for many types of water sports all do this time a year the waves are bigger and let's not forget our buddys the croc's. I think surfing is a cool sport to foment in this àrea, healthy activity for the young people in these towns, not enough distractions around here in my opinion besides drinking and getting in to trouble... saludos a todos!!!! enjoy the rain!!! |
