The dollar AMN is up to about 10.8 pesos. If you look at the last 5 years the peso usually crosses that magical 11 peso to 1 dollar AMN ratio around the beginning of October, with the exception of 2004. If you are planning on spending the winter in Mexico and are going to convert or transfer dollars to pesos keep an eye on the conversion rate. The next few weeks it may peek and that will be the time to convert what you will need for the whole winter and spring. Usually the peso to dollar AMN ratio devalues as the tourists return in fall and spring making the peso stronger and your purchasing power less.
