Anne, we had a boa experience in June. We rode our quad down to Martin's for dinner. First we took a ride along the beach at sunset...beautiful...but quad's engine's get very hot. After dinner we rode over to a tienda for some dessert...as we pulled in, a boa had wrapped itself around the quad steering wheel and was looking me square in the eyes!! I was in front and ejected straight up and off the quad...flipflops flying and left my husband to face it! Startled, he jumped off, went in search of a stick to pull it off...when he finally was successful, it quickly went straight back to the hot engine...it was quite an ordeal. So I'm not sure I want to ride the quad after dark any more!!
