| Like everything there is more than 1 side to the story and it depends on who you listen to or what you want to hear. Canada produces less than 3% of world wide carbon emissions while the US and China produce just under 50%. Alberta is investing major bucks into cutting edge carbon capture. One truth is that this is not cheap oil but the days of cheap oil are over with. Find the book "why your world is about to get a lot smaller" very interesting read, again it is one mans opinion but his track record so far has been very good and if he is right on this things are about to change. |
