To his credit, Richard Rasmussen has the only proper domestic septic system that I am personally aware of in La Manzanilla- a simple concrete tank and a leach line. It isn't rocket science, and does not cost a lot to put in. Of course it would have to be a priority for one to do so. Sanitation is the measure of civilization. Quaint though it is, La Manzanilla is a foul place. How's your eczema doing? Ring worm? Stye? Staph infection? Dysentery? Hepatitis?
