| Let's put an end to this "myself" stuff. "Myself" is not a subject pronoun. The first person subject pronoun is "I". It couldn't be any simpler. Your sentence should read "My sister and I...". Who started this anyway, Donald Rumsfeld? Call me picky, but I just can't stand by idly while people who should know better butcher the language. "Myself" is a reflexive object pronoun and is used as the object of a preposition in sentences where the speaker is both the subject and the object of the sentence, as in "I did it for myself." Please! |
